Dicta Meetings · included with Pro at launch

Meeting transcription and notes that never leave your Mac

Dicta Meetings listens to your calls, transcribes them and separates the speakers, all on the machine the meeting happened on. There is no bot to invite and no cloud mode to opt out of: the audio never has anywhere else to go.

Included with Pro at launch, at no extra cost. Nothing extra to pay for it.

Shown, not told

A library you can search, a transcript you can trust

Past meetings sit in one searchable list. Open one and speakers are already split out by voice, labeled "Speaker 1", "Speaker 2" and so on: rename any of them once and every turn from that voice shows the name you gave it.

The real difference

Nothing joins your meeting

Cloud notetakers send a bot into the call, visible to everyone, and often add a new audio device to your Mac to capture sound. Dicta does neither: it captures your voice through your Mac's own microphone and the meeting's own audio through a direct system-audio tap, and announces itself with its own on-screen notification instead.

Works with whatever you already use

Everything else a meeting needs, minus the bot

No cloud mode, ever

Capture, transcript and speaker detection run on the Mac the meeting happened on. Nothing to opt out of.

Your agents can read it back

The same local MCP server that covers your dictations covers your meetings. Localhost only, never the network.

Presentation mode

Turn on Privacy Mode any time to hide every window, or every window except the one in front, then restore them the moment you turn it off.

Consent, one click away

An always-visible indicator shows a meeting is being captured. Use Copy recording notice any time to put a ready-made participant-notification sentence, in line with all-party-consent rules such as Germany's §201 StGB, on your clipboard. Dicta never sends it for you: pasting it into the chat is always your call.

Your call, every time

Transcript only, or keep the audio too

Set it once or pick it per meeting. Either way, nothing ever leaves your Mac.

Never forget to hit record

Sees a meeting starting, offers to transcribe

Dicta can read your Mac's Calendar app locally, title, time and attendees only, whether the events came from Google, Outlook or iCloud. Nothing about your calendar is ever uploaded.

For rooms a cloud bot can't enter

Built for conversations that can't leave the building

Cloud meeting bots are increasingly turned away from legal, healthcare, government and other regulated conversations. Because Dicta never sends a bot and never sends audio off the device, it can go where those tools can't.

What's next

At launch

AI meeting notes, written locally

Turning a transcript into structured notes and action items, still fully on-device, is included with Pro at launch.

In Pro at launch, on the same on-device layer

18 built-in analysis frameworks, grouped by what you're running

Instead of one generic summary, Dicta Meetings will apply the right structured template to the call: a sales framework for a sales call, a retrospective format for a retro, a candidate scorecard for an interview. Every framework runs on-device, the same as the rest of Meetings, and is included in Pro at launch.
